Steam’s free-to-play catalogue is getting another boost from a big-name gaming company, as Nexon has confirmed that three of their most popular titles are headed to the digital distributor’s service.
According to The Verge, MMO hack-and-slasher Vindictus will be the first game to hit Steam, followed up by Combat Arms and Dungeon Fighter Online.
Each one arguably holds a claim in Nexon’s “top five” most popular games, and with Steam’s 4.5 million registered users, this looks like it’s going to benefit both companies very well indeed.
In fact, free-to-play seems to be the most popular thing on the Steam service period—Valve’s Team Fortress 2 remains the most played game in the network, most likely supported by the game’s recent switch to the “F2P” model.
