The next big Steam sale might be kicking off this week.
While Valve hasn’t made any announcements itself yet, Steam Database—a site that’s historically been accurate about the dates of upcoming sales—predicts that a Lunar New Year Sale will be launching on Thursday, February 15th. According to the site, the sale will run for five days, ending on Monday, February 19th.
Steam Database pulls its information from Steam Direct, Valve’s replacement for Steam Greenlight, and notes that the new submission path makes it easy to figure out the dates of new sales, with information leaking in “less than 5 hours.” In other words, Steam Database is pretty confident that this sale is incoming.
The next @steam_games sale is Lunar New Year Sale and will run from February 15th to 19th.
Thanks to Steam Direct, it now takes less than 5 hours for that information to leak.

The upcoming sale probably won’t be as big as the annual Steam Winter Sale, which ended a little over a month ago, but there still might be a few good games in the bunch that players can grab for cheap. At the moment, no sales have been announced, but we’ll keep an eye out for any official announcements from Valve.
