Medal of Honor

THE BUZZ: EA has confirmed that it will be unveiling the next Medal of Honor game at a press event next month.

The reveal will be made at an event set to take place March 6 at 8:00 PM PST, during the week of GDC.

EGM’s TAKE: Everyone already knew that the game existed, thanks to a flyer that came with all new copies of Battlefield 3 when it launched last year. Developer Danger Close has also been busy hiring employees since last year for a AAA first person shooter. What will the team do with the game this time round? The reboot was greeted with moderate success, but nothing in the league of Battlefield 3. Will EA try to bump up Medal of Honor’s recognition with the use of DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine, and will that be enough? Make sure you clear your calendar for March 6.

What are you hoping to see from the game? What locations, weapons or gadgets should be included? Let us know in the comments below.
