Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Siege‘s Y3S4.2 update will arrive on PC and consoles next week.
The update has been in testing for the last couple of weeks and makes some big balance changes to Caveira and Clash. Starting with Caveira, her Luison has been nerfed with a reduction in damage from 99 to 65, a reduction in its magazine size from 15 to 12, an increase in recoil, and an increase in its hipfire spread.
As Ubisoft previously explained, these changes have been made due to Caveira being “a little strong” and “frustrating to play against.”
Clash on the other hand has had her SPSMG9 buffed with an upgrade to full-automatic fire, an increase in total ammunition to 161 from 121, and an increase in damage to 33 from 30. These changes have been made to give Clash more efficiency and firepower.
In addition to the above, Kaid’s AUG A3 ADS speed has been increased by 33 percent, and the max damage of Doc and Rook’s MP5 has been decreased to 27 from 30.

Update Y3S4.2 is scheduled to hit PC on February 5th, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release to follow on February 6th.
