A demo for NHL 14 will be available for download on PSN and Xbox Live August 20, EA Sports announced.

According to a post on the EA Sports website, the demo will contain samplings of Play Now, NHL 94 Anniversary Mode, and the Hockey Ultimate Team Tournament. Play Now and Anniversary Mode on the demo feature the Boston Bruins and the Chicago Blackhawks facing off in the third period. The HUT portion of the demo, meanwhile, has the Halifax Mooseheads, Grand Rapids Griffins, the Bruins, and the Blackhawks competing in a mini-tournament.
