NHL franchise producer Sean Ramjagsingh returns in the latest dev diary for NHL 14 to talk about one-touch dekes and gameplay balancing, including the addition of defensive strafing.

“The new one-touch dekes are intuitive: simply press the left bumper, or L1, and select a direction with the left stick,” describes Ramjagsingh in the video. “See space to the right? Simply hold that direction and press the button. Need to toe-drag around a defender? Hold that direction and tap deke.”

According to Ramjagsingh, pivots and high-speed turning have also been improved from NHL 13.
