Amazon and Target have both dropped the price of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch to $40 (down $20 from its usual $60 price tag).

Ni no Kuni, developed in collaboration between Level-5 (Dark Cloud 2, Rogue Galaxy) and animation giant Studio Ghibli (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away), was met with uncharacteristic high praise from our managing editor, Andrew Fitch. A 9 from Andrew is like an 18 elsewhere, so PS3 owners should definitely check out Ni no Kuni—especially while it’s on the cheap.

The reduced price at Target and Amazon doesn’t seem to be a temporary promotion, but there’s no way to know when the price will return to $60, so now’s the time to buy, buy, buy.
