Ninja Gaiden 3 Devs Considered Kinect But Preferred Move
Posted on October 5, 2011 AT 09:21am
THE BUZZ: Team Ninja announced earlier that Ninja Gaiden 3 would support PlayStation Move, but there no news regarding Kinect. Team Ninja’s Peter Garza has discussed the reasons behind there being no Kinect support.
“Kinect? Well, ah, it doesn’t…End of that,” he said in a recent interview. “We looked at Kinect, we tried some things out, but we couldn’t find a way to get that sort of connection. So looking at our development resources and what would make our fans really excited, we figured it would be best to put those resources into some other aspects on the Xbox 360.”
“We’re definitely open to all new technologies and control inputs,” he added.
EGM’s TAKE: Developers tend to lean more towards Move due to the fact that you’re holding a tangible object and it’s much easier to produce feedback when you have something to send feedback to.
