THE BUZZ: Giving players choice is almost always a good thing—it certainly is in terms of the option Ninja Gaiden 3 owners will have.
EGM’s TAKE: If there’s one thing I’m thankful for when it comes to the gaming industry, it is that the English voice acting applied to Japanese games when bringing them over has only gotten better over recent years.
Even so, it’s still nice to have the ability to choose which voices you want to hear in a game—especially when that game is heavily steeped in Japanese culture and characters, such as Tecmo Koei’s upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3.
On the official Team Ninja twitter account, it was confirmed over the weekend that the game will indeed over players the option of deciding between English and Japanese voice acting.
And, as I said, choice is almost always a good thing.
