THE BUZZ: Just in case the 20+ games already slated for Vita’s launch weren’t enough for you, one more has now been confirmed to be ready for February 22nd.

Indeed, today Tecmo Koei confirmed today that the Vita version of Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus will be an option for those picking up the handheld at launch. While retaining all of that hardcore action Ninja Gaiden fans have come to know and love, the game will also offer new Vita-specific features such as touch and gyro-based motion support.

EGM’s TAKE: I’m almost a little mixed on this announcement. Normally, hearing about another game coming out at a system’s launch would be great—but really, there are now so many Vita launch games! Almost too many! It’ll be wonderful for gamers who want to make sure they have options day-one that they really care about, but I’m somewhat afraid that some of these games are going to be totally forgotten about with so many titles to choose from.
