Ninja Theory shows off Bleeding Edge, its new team-based brawler


 

While the reveal was spoiled thanks to some naughty pre-E3 leaks, Ninja Theory took the stages at the Xbox press briefing to announce Bleeding Edge. Full details on the game are still a bit scarce since we only got a quick trailer, but we do know that Bleeding Edge will be a 4-vs-4 experience that will no doubt mix elements of action brawlers and fighting games—reminding me more than a bit of Platinum Games’ criminally under-rated last-gen release Anarchy Reigns.

In the trailer below, we not only get a taste of the fast-paced team-focused action of the game, but also a handful of its colorful characters. We then also get an important date—June 27th—which is when a technical alpha is set to kick off for Bleeding Edge.
