The name of the upcoming Yoshi game for Nintendo Switch has been leaked early, unveiling the game as Yoshi’s Crafted World.
Originally, Nintendo planned to hold a Nintendo Direct on September 6th, when this game would ikely have been revealed in full. Due to the natural disasters currently affecting Japan, however, the Direct was delayed. That didn’t stop some events that were apparently preplanned, however, since data for Yoshi’s Crafted World appeared on the Nintendo website in multiple places.
Most prominently, the leaked game name appeared in the “You might also like…” section of the site for several users. The game has what seems to be a placeholder logo on the site, and some text tells us that the game is “coming 2019.”
Looks like Nintendo leaked something ahead of time, even for the previously scheduled Direct.

Not much is known about the game so far, but we know that it has a craft material aesthetic similar to games like Paper Mario and Kirby’s Epic Yarn. Presumably, we would have learned more about the game during the Nintendo Direct, and may soon learn more whenever the Direct is rescheduled.
