THE BUZZ: Recently, Nintendo of America announced that if you want to pick up the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles at retail, you’ll have to do it at GameStop. Well, it seems like that isn’t the only exclusive the retailer will be getting from Nintendo.

Today, it was revealed that the Circle Pad Pro—the attachment that adds a second analog pad to the 3DS—will also only be sold only through GameStop here in North America. The accessory will sell for $19.99 when it hits on February 7th of next year.

EGM’s TAKE: Pushing Xenoblade Chronicles as a GameStop exclusive was a little odd, but still somewhat understandable depending on how you looked at it. Making the Circle Pad Pro exclusive to only one retailer, however, makes little sense to me—especially when it’s a retailer that so many publishers rally against due to their used game sales.
