Nintendo Confirms North American Release of Zelda-Themed Nintendo 3DS XL

Posted on October 29, 2013 AT 01:40pm

Nintendo today confirmed that the Zelda-inspired Nintendo 3DS XL outed by a leaked GameStop Black Friday circular earlier this month is releasing in North America alongside A Link Between Worlds.

The triforce-branded handheld console is the latest Nintendo product to get a Zelda-themed makeover, following the Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle, which launched alongside the digital release of Wind Waker HD on September 20.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds launches exclusively for Nintendo 3DS (and 2DS) November 22. The gold-and-black 3DS XL bundle will cost $219.99 and come with the console and a pre-installed digital copy of the game itself.
