Nintendo’s top-selling software remains any and all things Mario-related, according to the official Nintendo website.
The top three selling Nintendo 3DS titles are Super Mario 3D Land at 8.29 million units, Mario Kart 7 at 8.08 million units, and New Super Mario Bros. 2 at 6.42 million units. Animal Crossing: New Leaf landed the fourth slot at 3.86 million units.
On the Wii U side of Nintendo’s operations, Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U are the top two titles on the new console, selling 2.60 million units and 2.15 million units respectively.
