Nintendo finally revealed the release window of its upcoming console, codenamed NX, in its latest financial results.

?For our dedicated video game platform business, Nintendo is currently developing a gaming platform codenamed ?NX? with a brand-new concept,? the company wrote in the report. ?NX will be launched in March 2017 globally.?

This was later confirmed by the Nintendo of America Twitter account.

No other details were shared about the console.

Nintendo has previously confirmed that there will be no news about NX or its mobile titles at E3 this year, with the company instead opting to focus on the Wii U and 3DS.
