THE BUZZ: Nintendo of Japan has released a special channel on the Wii in order to fix a game breaking bug that was discovered in Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The company acknowledged the bug earlier in the month. If a certain sequence of events occurs in your game, and you save, your file will become corrupted. The Legend of Zelda Data Restoration Channel fixes any corrupted save files and prevents the bug from occurring. There is no news on this fix coming to the West at this moment, but we expect it will soon.
EGM’s TAKE: Nintendo promised a fix and delivered in speedy fashion, and has even managed to devise a clever way of patching the game in the process.
