A new update is now available for Nioh (via Reddit), bringing with it a new PvP mode, a new difficulty mode, and more.

Update 1.07 adds support for 2v2 and 1v1 PvP battles, new transformation skins, new Guardian spirits, a new level cap, new titles, and much more. Read the patch notes below:

  • Added content for add-on 1
  • Added an online PvP mode
  • Expands functionality
  • Adjusted game balance
  • Fixes various bugs

As mentioned above, the update adds support for the game’s Dragon of the North DLC, which is available to purchase from today. The DLC includes new Yokai, new enemies, and new stages for players to work their way through, as well as new Guardian Spirits, armor, ninja skills, magic, and a brand new weapon called the Odachi.

Nioh is available now on PlayStation 4.
