Mortal Kombat

Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon has stated that there is no chance of the first three Mortal Kombat games appearing on the Wii U Virtual Console.

Boon was asked on Twitter about the possibility of the SNES versions of Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, and Mortal Kombat 3 coming to the virtual console, to which he replied: “0.0%.”

While this is sad news for Wii U-owning Mortal Kombat fans, it’s not the end of the world. All three titles have been re-released on several platforms, so they are not that hard to find if you really want a classic Mortal Kombat fix.
