No Demo for New Tomb Raider

Crystal Dynamics global brand director Karl Stewart revealed via twitter that because the new Tomb Raider is so narratively driven, the company has no intentions to release a demo.

Of course, it could be argued that the demo doesn’t need to contain any story elements—it could simply be a chunk of exploration with a dash of combat pulled out of context purely to give players a feel for how the game plays.

Though if you ask me, his super ellipsis seems awfully suspicious. Then again, he did tweet this at 1:00 in the morning. Perhaps he passed out on the period key……..
