Xbox One owners looking to broadcast their gameplay via Twitch still have a long wait ahead of them, according to an update from the company.
The feature was promised for sometime in the first part of 2014 by Microsoft, but an update from Twitch today stated that there is still no ETA on a release, and that Xbox One owners should expect to wait “a few more months.”
When the Twitch app finally releases players will be able to stream and watch gameplay on their consoles. The app will also be integrated into the guide, allowing it to take advantage of the console’s snap feature. There’s also 10 media Achievements up for grabs, worth zero Gamerscore.
Xbox One Direct Broadcasting: There is no ETA at this time from Microsoft. Expect a few more months. If we know sooner, we’ll update.
