As well as fixing Mass Effect: Andromeda‘s eye and animation issues, update 1.05 also updated the game’s Denuvo protection, locking pirates out of the latest version.
Andromeda‘s Denuvo protection was cracked less than two weeks after launch due to it shipping with an older version of the DRM system. However, update 1.05 updates the game to the latest version of Denuvo which is yet to be cracked, according to DSO Gaming, meaning that players who pirated the game are stuck with the pre-patch version.
The game’s 1.05 update went live last week and added more shadow to character’s eyes to help reduce the uncanny valley effect and also fixed a few of the game’s more jarring animations. As well as this, the update increased inventory space, rebalanced single and multiplayer, and added an option to skip autopilot sequences in the galaxy map. Read the full patch notes here.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
