No FemShep Cover for Mass Effect Trilogy, Something Special Planned for Her
Posted on September 27, 2012 AT 02:59am

The recently announced Mass Effect Trilogy won’t feature an optional female Shepard cover, which is sad news, however the team does have something special planned for our heroine.
This year’s Mass Effect 3 featured a reversible cover with the male version of Shepard on one side and the female version on the other, many thought that BioWare would adopt the same approach with the trilogy, but this isn’t the case. The official Mass Effect Twitter account responded to the backlash by saying it has “a little something special planned for FemShep coming.”
“Not with the cover art. We’re doing something separate.” a later post added.
The Mass Effect Trilogy is due to release November 6 in the U.S. for Xbox 360 and PC, but no official date for the PlayStation 3 version has been offered at the moment.
