The latest NPD report has revealed the best-selling games from the month of August, and, surprisingly, the beleaguered No Man’s Sky is near the top of the list.

Madden NFL 17, the latest release in the ever-popular Madden series, took home the best-selling spot. That’s no surprise. More unusual, though, is No Man’s Sky‘s placement as the second-best selling game of the month, despite a large amount of public backlash and?more importantly?the fact that digital sales weren’t counted.

While the NPD report recently made a shift to tally in digital as well as physical sales, a few games are still exceptions. Another example is Overwatch, which placed as the fifth-best selling game of August despite the exclusion of Battle.net digital sales.

So, what does this mean? Not much?just that those games that are already selling well enough to make it onto August’s top-ten list are actually selling even better than the NPD Report can tally up.

Here’s the full list of results.

  1. Madden NFL 17
  2. No Man’s Sky*
  3. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
  4. Grand Theft Auto V
  5. Overwatch**
  6. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
  7. Call of Duty: Black Ops III
  8. Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens
  9. Minecraft*
  10. Destiny: The Taken King

*No digital sales.
**No Battle.net digital sales.
