No More Resistance Games From Insomniac

THE BUZZ: Insomniac Games has revealed that they have no plans to continue the Resistance franchise.
“We won’t be making any more Resistances,” said CEO Ted price, putting an end to hopes of Resistance 4.
EGM’s TAKE: Of course this doesn’t mean that PlayStation fans are losing an exclusive, as the company will continue to make games for console just not using the Resistance IP. After three titles it’s probably best to take an extended break from the franchise as ideas are obviously starting to run dry, so it’s likely best to let Insomniac have some freedom on a new project. What will the team create next, another FPS or will they move into a new genre? There’s also a possibility that a new developer could take over the Resistance franchise if Insomniac is done with it. The best action is to let it rest for a few years and come back to it with fresh ideas and maybe new hardware.
Are you sad to see it end? Or is it the best move? Let us know below.
