Assassin's Creed

Assassin’s Creed Origins director Ashraf Ismail has confirmed that the game is not coming to Nintendo Switch.

“We’re shipping on Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, PS4 Pro, and PC,” Ismail told Gaming Bolt in a recent interview. “There are no plans to release it on Switch.”

Origins takes place in Egypt and puts players in control of Bayek. The game moves away from pure action gameplay of previous entries in the series by introducing a number of RPG elements and putting more focus on gear and levels.

Assassin’s Creed Origins launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 27th, with support for PlayStation 4 Pro and the new Xbox One X once the console launches in November.
