Tim Willits, studio director at id Software, has said that there are currently no plans to bring its upcoming shooter Rage 2 to Nintendo Switch.

Speaking to DualShockers at PAX East, Willits revealed that the studio has been looking into bringing the game to Nintendo’s console, but “there are some challenges” with the technology.

“Well, we’ve been looking into it. It’s just the technology, there are some challenges,” he said. “But we’re always looking for future platforms and future people to work with. So, we like to investigate, but we have no plans for that right now.”

Rage 2 launches May 14th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
