The Trial of Archimedes—a notably difficult stage toward the end of God of War: Ascension—will be getting a patch to make it more manageable, director Todd Papy confirmed on Twitter.

The section in question, which involves fighting several long waves of enemies, has frustrated many gamers and critics alike—Rev3′s Adam Sessler specifically called the section out in his video review. Our own reviews chief, Ray Carsillo, however, while agreeing that the Trial of Archimedes is difficult, doesn’t feel it’s a point of contention.
