The Sea of Thieves technical alpha test is coming to a close, but developer Rare is giving fans one last chance to get in on its swashbuckling action.

Fans that join the game’s Insider Program before the December 1st cut-off date will get to take part in the game’s upcoming play session, which is the “biggest and best yet.” This final alpha trial will test out new, yet-to-be-specified features, and all players previously involved in the Insider Program are also welcome.

Joining the program is free, only requiring participants have an Xbox Live account and are 18 years or older to sign the NDA. This prevents players from divulging specifics about the game while it is still in development, which also means no streaming or capture of the test is permitted. If you’re not in the Insider Program and want a look at the game, you’ll have to stick to Sea of Thieves‘ trailers, like the recent one that invites players to “be more pirate.”

Sea of Thieves is slated to launch in early 2018 for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The game will also support an enhanced experience if played on the Xbox One X.
