Obsidian Entertainment chief creative officer Chris Avellone—who worked on Fallout 2, Planescape: Torment, and Fallout: New Vegas—says the company would love another shot at Fallout.

While talking to Gameranx about the partially Kickstarter-funded Project Eternity, Avellone mentioned how Obsidian is keen on returning to Fallout—a decision he says is entirely up to Bethesda.

“All of the Fallout stuff is totally up to Bethesda,” Avellone told Gameranx. “While we would love to do another Fallout game again, that is totally up to them.”

Fallout 4 is known to be in development at Bethesda, but Softworks vice president Pete Vines stated at E3 2013 that expecting an official announcement any time soon is “unrealistic.”
