Minecraft Xbox 360 is getting an official content pack inspired by The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, and Mojang announced during Minecon 2013 today.
The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Mash-Up pack is being developed by 4J Studios, who handled the Xbox 360 port of Minecraft and will be handling the Minecraft ports for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. The pack will add a Skyrim texture set, 40 new character skins, Skyrim-inspired menus and UI, new crafting items, and over 20 background tracks from the Skyrim soundtrack, as well as pre-constructed worlds modeled after Skyrim’s Whiterun, Riverwood, and Bleak Falls Barrow areas.
According to the companies, the pack is currently in development but “coming soon.”
Minecon 2013 kicks off in full tomorrow, November 2, and lasts through Sunday, November 3, in Orlando, Florida.
