Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm, an indie-developed 2D fighting game from former SNK and King of Fighters staffers, is being rebranded Legend of Raven for the PS Vita, publisher Nicalis announced.

Legend of Raven is designed to be an old-school fighting game with an old-school look and feel (hence why, despite being a Vita title, it won’t be in widescreen). The fighter was originally targeting a 3DS release, but moved to Vita “due to the incredibly overwhelming response from the fighting game community,” according to Nicalis CEO and executive producer Victor Rodriguez.

Nicalis didn’t provide a release window, but they did reveal that the title would be distributed through PSN, so expect typical digital release pricing for a game of this size and scope ($15, I’m betting).
