Old-School Sci-Fi RPG Cosmic Star Heroine Coming to Xbox One

Posted on December 4, 2013 AT 11:45am

Zeboyd Games’ Kickstarted-funded sci-fi RPG Cosmic Star Heroine is coming to the Xbox One, studio co-creator Robert Boyd confirmed to Eurogamer.

Earlier today, it was announced that Zeboyd Games was among the 28 known studios participating in Microsoft’s ID@Xbox self-publishing program geared toward indie devs and larger operations alike.

“Mostly, we want to gain experience with the Xbox One for the possibility of future projects,” Boyd told Eurogamer.

No doubt they’re also keen on increasing their audience reach, as well.

Cosmic Star Heroine is a turn-based role-playing game inspired by Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star, and Suikoden. Zeboyd attained $132,689 of their original $100,000 Kickstarter goal. Earlier this year, the company announced the game would be coming to Windows PC, Mac, PS4, and Vita sometime 2014.
