Roll7 has announced a sequel to its indie hit OlliOlli called OlliOlli2: Welcome to Olliwood that will be available on PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2015.

“At the end of the project, John (our creative Director) excitedly sat us down with a vision for a sequel, something that had been lighting up in his brain ever since we locked features for the original,” Roll7’s Simon Bennett wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

“The main thrust of his plan was that we needed to expand meaningfully on our (since much praised) combo system, create a far more powerful level editor (to allow for more bodacious level design) and to unify the whole experience in a themed OlliOlli universe.”

The focus on pulling off insane combos remains, but this time, instead of being on the streets, Roll7 is placing your skater in front of some of the “Silver Screen?s most radical cinematic locations.” Gameplay will be improved with the addition of Ramps, Jumps, Epic Hills and split-level routes, while the combo system will be enhanced with Manuals, Reverts, Revert Manuals, and Grind Switching.

The game’s ?Tricktionary? is also being improved with new specials, including 540 Shuvits, Anti-Casper Flips, and Darkslides.

Finally, OlliOlli2 will introduce a new game mode called Combo Rush. This split-screen local multiplayer mode supports up to four player and tasks them with earning the biggest score in a set spot against the clock.
