For Honor

One For Honor emote proves to have applications beyond just humiliating a player’s enemies.

Available in For Honor for the Viking’s Berserker class, players can equip an emote that employs a quick backflip. Beyond the athletic prowess on display, this emote is impressive because it can be used to dodge enemy attacks—unlike most emotes, which leave the player a sitting duck for their duration. As demonstrated in a GIF from Reddit user TheRealCrayfish, the Berserker can flip over a Conquerer’s mace attack with an agile leap.

The emote in question is called “Flipout” and can be purchased for the Berserker for 3,000 Steel. A host of addtional emotes recently went live for the game, but their incredibly steep prices may give players second thoughts.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
