The sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, will be headed to the Xbox One in 2019.
While we already knew that a sequel was on the way, Microsoft’s E3 conference has offered us a new glimpse of the gameplay in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, as well as some hints at the plot. It seems that the story picks up shortly after the first one, with a small hatchling (presumably the hatching egg from the end of the first game) joining the team.
The trailer clocks in at just over two minutes long, and offers a pretty good look at the world of the game. It seems that Ori will get a few new skills, such as the ability to shoot a bow and arrow made of light, as well as his old wall jumping, bashing, and stomping abilities.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps releases in 2019 for Xbox One and PC.
