EA has announced that its digital distribution platform Origin will now offer full refunds on digital game purchases.

Users can opt to return a game for either PC or Mac within 24 hours of purchasing if they launch the title. If they don’t launch it then that refund period is extended to seven days–this time period also counts for pre-orders.

The system is called the Origin Great Game Guarantee and is now live in 20 countries.
