Original Killzone for PlayStation 3 Delayed Indefinitely

THE BUZZ: Guerrilla Games has announced that Killzone for PlayStation 3 has been “delayed indefinitely.”
“With regards to KZ1 for PS3, not sure what happened but I’ve been informed that it’s been delayed indefinitely,” the developer posted on Twitter. ”I have no further info about KZ1 for PS3, save for the fact that it’s delayed indefinitely. If I learn anything else, I’ll tweet it here.”
The game was scheduled to release on the PlayStation Network January 24, however it never appeared. It was said to be a port of the original PlayStation 2 version and not a remake.
EGM’s TAKE: This is bad news for fans who were excited about getting a chance to play the original one more time. It’s odd the developer has chose to announce an indefinite delay and yet failed to provide any kind of reasoning behind it. There could be any number of reasons behind the delay, money, time, effort, ease or many others. Hopefully Guerrilla can provide more details in the future.
