Outlast will launch on the PlayStation 4 next month as one of February’s free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers, developer Red Barrels announced on Facebook earlier today.

First released for Windows PC September 2013, Outlast is a first-person survivor horror game in which players, as freelance journalist Miles Upshur, must navigate the hellish halls of an asylum he’s investigating. Emphasis in Outlast is on horror and survival, eschewing traditional forms of combat-centric gameplay.

Prequel DLC titled Whistleblower, announced October 31, 2013, is also in development, though Red Barrels has yet to announce a release window.
