Over 2 Million Accounts Created Since Star Wars: The Old Republic F2P Switch

BioWare has announced that over 2 million new accounts have been created in Star Wars: The Old Republic since the game switched to a free-to-play model, with thousands of new accounts being made every single day.
Executive producer Jeff Hickman says that “player feedback, in general, has been very positive about the new things in the game.”
“Last spring, there was some uncertainty surrounding Star Wars: The Old Republic as we were starting to lose subscribers and players were growing frustrated,” said Hickman. “In fairness, many of the complaints and worries were justified. In an effort to try to address everything, we just weren’t sufficiently focused on improving the core experience.”
Hickman also mentioned that players will be granted the ability to customize already created characters early this summer in exchange for Cartel Coins.
