Overwatch

It wouldn’t be an Overwatch seasonal event without leaks, and in the case of the shooter’s upcoming Anniversary event, fans got… basically everything.

The event promised to introduce eight new Legendary skins and three new Epic skins to the game, in addition to bringing back all old seasonal cosmetic items. While Blizzard showed off three of the skins on Twitter, the developer attempted to keep most of the Legendary skins under wraps. Unfortunately for the studio (and fortunately for us), every single skin leaked, apparently thanks to a timing issue with the Taiwanese servers and a subsequent post to Reddit.

All the skins can be seen in the gallery below, along with a look at the new event loot boxes and menu screen banner.

Blizzard released the trailer for the Anniversary event’s new Petra Deathmatch map over this past weekend, but even this official reveal couldn’t trump the leak tidal wave. A video surfaced on YouTube around the same time as the trailer, not only showing off a flythrough of the new map, but also giving a better look at all the new event skins and dance emotes.

Overwatch‘s second Anniversary event will run from tomorrow, May 22nd, to June 11th. An Overwatch free weekend will go down during the event, running from May 25th to May 28th.

Symmetra will get her new skin just prior to her upcoming rework, expected to hit the game sometime in early June. There are some more immediate hero changes coming to the game, such as nerfs to Hanzo’s Storm Arrows and Brigitte’s ultimate ability, and these will hopefully hit the game alongside tomorrow’s Anniversary event.

These new Overwatch skins are pretty sweet—and even sweeter since we get to see them early.
