Overwatch

A number of new skins, emotes, and highlight intros inspired by several Blizzard games are being added to Overwatch in early 2018 to accompany the new BlizzardWorld map.

The trailer below shows Widowmaker as StarCraft’s Nova, Torbjorn as World of Warcraft‘s Magni Bronzebeard, Roadhog as Diablo’s Butcher, and Zarya as Diablo’s Barbarian.

Blizzard added that all of these items will be available in Overwatch‘s regular loot boxes.

As well as announcing the new BlizzardWorld map and skins, the developer also unveiled Overwatch‘s next hero, Moira. Moira is a support character who wields two Biotic Orbs, allowing her to heal allies with one and sap enemies’ health with the other.

In other news, Blizzard also announced new expansions for Hearthstone and World of Warcraft, a Classic World of Warcraft server, and a move to free-to-play for StarCraft II.
