The harmonious streets of Paris will soon be notably less harmonious now that the map is live in Overwatch.
Overwatch‘s Paris Assault map has been on the game’s public test region since the end of January, and has now finally been added to the full game. A trailer launched with the map, giving us a view of the sophisticated culture and architecture that players will soon be destroying.
The update introducing the Paris map additionally implemented a balancing change that has also been sitting on the PTR. The developer has reprioritized how different health types are layered for heroes, from which the most significant change is that shields will now be layered under armor, no longer protecting the armor with a cushion of recoverable health.
In other Overwatch news, the second season of the Overwatch League commenced last week, and fans can check out the League’s schedule to learn when each team is playing. This week will kick off with a match between the Washington Justice and London Spitfire on February 21st at 4 p.m. PT.
