Overwatch

A new update is now available on Overwatch‘s test server that makes a balance tweaks to several members of the game’s roster.

The update reduces the explosive damage of D.Va’s Micro Missiles to limit her burst potential, makes it so Mei’s Endothermic Blaster pierces through enemies to help her deal with multiple opponents, increasing the movement speed bonus of Reaper’s Wraith Form by 25 percent, and reduces the secondary fire rate of Zenyatta’s Orb of Destruction.

Finally, the update moves the first payload checkpoint on Blizzard World back 10 meters.

“We moved the checkpoint back for two reasons. The original location swung the map’s balance too far in one direction (favoring the defenders),” Blizzard explained. “Also, once the payload reached the checkpoint, defenders returning from spawn could get pinned in this area, usually resulting in their death.”

Take a look at the full list of changes over on the official Blizzard forums.

Overwatch is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
