Overwatch

The voice actor for Overwatch‘s Mercy is back in the recording studio and posting images that could tease something massive coming to the hero shooter.

Actress Lucie Pohl recently tweeted out that she was “back in the studio w/ [her] fav character”, attaching an image of herself at the recording mic. What is most intriguing about the image is the title of her script that reads “Dungeon Boss”, potentially alluding to a new PvE event similar to Junkenstein’s Revenge. The tweet has since been deleted—more evidence that it is not nonsense—but luckily the image was saved by the fine folks at PVP Live.

As for what specifically Pohl is recording, it seems likely that it is voice lines for this upcoming event, but it could also involve a new Overwatch short coming down the line, or even Mercy’s presence in another game, à la Lúcio in Heroes of the Storm.

In other Overwatch news, the game has had a very erratic week on the public test realm. Buffs and nerfs have been coming in and out, support character Ana being the most prominent victim.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
