The Overwatch Game of the Year edition is finally getting a physical release.
The Game of the Year edition comes with a number of bonus goodies to celebrate the base game’s gigantic userbase of 30 million players. A digital version of this edition released last May, but this will be the first time players will be able to grab a physical copy off a shelf.
Players will gain 10 bonus Overwatch Loot Boxes as soon as they turn the game on, as well as five character skins that are unique to the Origins and Game of the Year edition versions of the game: Blackwatch Reyes, Strike-Commander Morrison, Overgrown Bastion, Security Chief Pharah, and Slipstream Tracer.
Those who play Blizzard’s other games will get a few crossover goodies as well. Gain Mercy’s Wings in Diablo III or a Baby Winston pet in World of Warcraft. Heroes of the Storm players will get Tracer as a hero, while Starcraft II players can enjoy in-game portraits of Tracer, Reaper, Pharah, Winston, Bastion, and Soldier: 76 and an Overwatch-themed card back design.
The physical version of the Overwatch Game of the Year edition will arrive on shelves on July 28th.
