Painkiller Hell & Damnation Console Release Moved to April

The console versions of Painkiller Hell & Damnation, a remake/sequel to People Can Fly’s 2004 debut, will now come out April 5, publisher Nordic Games announced.

Painkiller Hell & Damnation was originally scheduled to release this month, January 22.

Reinhard Pollice, production and business development manager at Nordic Games, offered up a stock excuse in the press release:

“We have been working around the clock to bring the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game in line with the quality and standard of the PC game. There has been a slight delay so that the console communities can enjoy the fiendishly ghoulish experience that we know they want and deserve. In taking this additional time to add the final touches, we know that players will realise that the best things do come to those who wait!”

Not good things. The best things. The best things come to those who wait.
