Concept art and a behind-the-scenes photo that can be unlocked after completing Locycyle seem to tease the next project from developer Twisted Pixel.

Both items can found in Lococycle’s “The Garage” menu option under “Exclusives.” The concept art depicts what appears to be a sci-fi city setting (though there are elements that strike me as fantasy-ish, so think Star Wars or Asgard in Thor). Accompanying the image is text that reads, “Hey, that isn’t from Lococycle…?!?!?”

The behind-the-scenes photo shows a woman decked out in a motion capture suit and facial optical motion capture markers. Both images seem to suggest that the studio’s next project will be a great deal more serious than Lococycle (and hopefully 100% less racist). The accompanying description text for the photo reads, “How did this get here? Huh. Weird.”

Twisted Pixel marketing director Jay Stuckwisch confirmed with Joystiq in July that the studio is working on a new, unannounced project. Seems more than likely that unannounced project and the photos below are connected.
