Indie hit Papers, Please managed to scoop three awards at the 2014 Independent Games Festival last night.

Lucas Pope’s immigration game managed to win three prizes at the show, including Excellence in Narrative, Excellence in Design, and the Seumas McNally Grand Prize. Other winners included Risk of Rain, Device 6, and The Stanley Parable.

The IGF finalists collectively won $50,000, with the grand prize, won by Paper’s Please, being worth $30,000. The full list of winners can be found below:

  • Excellence in Visual Art ($3,000) – Gorogoa (Jason Roberts)
  • Nuovo Award ($5,000) – Luxuria Superbia (Tale of Tales)
  • Excellence in Audio ($3,000) – DEVICE 6 (Simogo)
  • Excellence in Narrative ($3,000) – Papers, Please (Lucas Pope)
  • Best Student Game ($3,000) – Risk of Rain (Hopoo Games – University of Washington)
  • Audience Award ($3,000) – The Stanley Parable (Galactic Café)

Indie hit Papers, Please managed to scoop three awards at the 2014 Independent Games Festival last night.
