Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima told attendees at PAX that he would love to make a game starring The Boss as the main character.

For those who don’t know The Boss is Naked Snake’s (Big Boss) mentor from Metal Gear Solid 3, who founded the Cobra Unit. When asked if more spin-offs were planned for the series similar to Metal Gear Rising, he replied, “I’m not a huge fan of spin-offs, so it’s hard to say at this point.”

“We’ve talked previously about a game featuring The Boss as a main character. This is something I’d really love to make,” he added.
